Review the CLASS-TURNS every class period.
START THE TIMER AT THE CLASS START TIME!
Always use the FIRST FOUR Class-Turn sections and the countdown timer at beginning of class. (You can use the WrapUp and CleanUp sections only if you need them).
You can use either the SLIDE SHOW below, or scrolling-version below that. Whichever you like best, but the slideshow does not have a countdown timer, which is recommended for young classes.
There are new FIRSTLIGHT rules. Only 2 of them, which are generalized so you don’t get caught in a battle over details.
You are the RULING MONARCH of your room. You have the last word on everything. Remember that you’re being kind by setting boundaries AND enforcing them.
If you move around the room, or are doing any demos, you’ll want to display this page from your phone so you can change it wherever you are.
